WBS: The purpose of WBS is to subdivide the scope of work into manageable work packages that can be estimated, planned and assigned to a responsible person or department for completion

Earned Value Analysis: is an approach that indicates how much of the budget and time should have been spent, with regards to the amount of work done to date.
