As part of its continuing growth and development, the University of Edinburgh Business School is seeking to appoint two Lecturers within its Marketing Group. We are seeking high quality teachers and researchers who will teach on the School`s general programmes (MBA, MSc and Undergraduate programmes) and contribute to more specialized programmes in Marketing as appropriate. Senior Lecturer Digital Business & Management Systems
Digital Business and Management Systems Division

Grade 9: £37,651 - £43,622 per annum
The Digital Business and Management Systems Division within the Business School is looking to recruit a Senior Lecturer.
You will be required to teach on undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes in management and business, contributing to the management and ongoing development of these programmes. Using your specialist knowledge, you will contribute to the development of new areas in the field of digital business and management systems, as well as undertake research and scholarly activity in the field.
A PhD, or Second degree plus equivalent relevant practitioner experience is essential - and successful applicants must possess a sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge to work within established research programmes and write authoritatively in the area. Experience of designing and delivering content in digital business and management systems is also an essential requirement.

Junior Research Fellowships
Imperial College London is delighted to invite applications for its Junior Research Fellowship scheme, to give outstanding early-career researchers an opportunity to develop independent research programmes.
In 2010, we will be awarding up to 20 fellowships. Each one offers up to three years funding (stipend in the range £31,180 to £36,670 and up to £10,000 per annum research expenses). Fellowships are designed to provide freedom to focus on research: there will be no teaching or administrative duties associated with these them. Applicants will be expected to apply for additional sources of funding to allow them to strengthen their research programme.
Proposals will be accepted in all core disciplines active at Imperial College and can be held in any Faculty (Engineering, Medicine, Natural Sciences), the Business School and the Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine. Interdisciplinary projects will also be welcomed.
Applicants will need to identify an Imperial College academic staff member to act as their sponsor and provide laboratory space, facilities and mentorship for the tenure of the fellowship. Candidates may be from the UK or abroad and will be normally expected to have up to 4 years post-doctoral experience at the time of application. Proposals will be judged primarily on the basis of scientific merit, track record of the applicant and potential for development of an independent research programme.

Knowledge Exchange Assistant

Based within Strathclyde Business School and working as part of a lively and hardworking group, you will lead new departmental collaborations with industry through developing, for example, research and consultancy projects, continuing professional development courses, postgraduate student projects and internships, as well as making technical contributions to projects undertaken in collaboration with academic staff. You must possess a strong technical background in any area of Management Science/Operations Research and preferably, you will have good problem structuring skills, the ability to conduct basic qualitative and quantitative analysis and experience in applications.
